The Merkur 37C offers a brilliant slant-head design that helps tackle tougher and thicker beards. It is a heavyweight razor that gives great balance and grip due to the design of the handle. The handle has an overall length of 63mm and is made from chrome-plated brass. 

This is connected to the razor head via a durable screw mechanism. You can quickly unscrew the slant head to insert a blade, or to clean the unit. The slant head had a safety bar that sits at an angle to the top plate. This means that you effectively slice facial hair at an angle and thus can achieve a smoother shave.
